Sabiha Khan, QHP's
Chief Operations Officer, has been working in all
aspects of healthcare and
brings forward
over a decade of experience as a Healthcare
Administrator. As a graduate of the Masters of
Business Administration at Columbia University,
Sabiha has been able to implement cutting edge
processes, which have streamlined many
departmental operations here at QHP.
Before
joining QHP, Ms. Khan was the CEO of Delta
Medical Care, a licensed TPA and MSO. In her
tenure at Delta Medical Care, Inc , Ms.
Khan worked first as a financial analyst. She
was quickly promoted as the Manager and
then Director of the Finance Department.
She parlayed her expertise in healthcare finance
into a position as Delta's Chief Operating
Officer and was ultimately named CEO.
At Delta, Ms.
Khan was responsible for over 34,000 Medicare
lives (with Humana, BCBS and Well Care) as well
as a 500-physician MSO in the Tampa Bay
Area. Her tenure with Delta showcased her talent
in all aspects of healthcare operations and
finance with stellar results in improving
processes and operations efficiencies, reducing
IBNR and Medical Loss Ratios, managing
reinsurance, undertaking comprehensive financial
reporting, performance of pharmacy analysis and
administrative cost analysis for each of the
aforementioned health plans.
As
Chief Operations Officer, Ms. Khan has developed
an operational system comprised of checks and
balances ensuring all departments operate
synergistically while remaining fully compliant
with all regulatory agencies. Her regulatory
expertise has taken the company through many
successful reviews from Centers for Medicare and
Medicaid Services, Agency for Health Care
Administration, FL Department of Insurance, and
HEDIS. Ms. Khan is very well versed in the
State, Federal and NAIC reporting requirements
as well as IBNR Analysis, CMS Reconciliation,
Part D Reporting and Requirements, Pharmacy,
Utilization Analysis, Contracting, CMS Rules and
Regulations.
Sabiha
Khan has provided strategic direction and
oversight to all aspect’s of QHP’s contracting,
which has resulted in the development of a
quality healthcare plan with its focus on
providing the best care available to its members
while remaining efficient for providers.
Ms. Khan is one
of the founding members of QHP and has been a
very valuable asset to the company over the past
five years. |
