Lisa Cierpka has joined Quality Health Plans, as
Manager of the Medical Affairs Department,
Utilization Management Division and was
soon promoted to Director of Medical Affairs. She brings
almost 10 years of years of expertise in the
Disease Management forum. Ms. Cierpka is a
Registered Nurse with over 15 years of Critical
Care Nursing experience. She received her
Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Seton
Hall University.
In
this role, Ms. Cierpka is responsible for daily
operations within the Medical Affairs Department.
In addition she has a key role in the
development and implementation of Quality Health
Plan’s Case Management and Member Wellness
programs. In sync with QHP’s philosophy, Ms.
Cierpka believes that a proactive approach is
necessary to identify at-risk members. In doing
so, the Medical Affairs Department team is able
to ensure that services needed by our members
are done so in timely and efficient fashion.
Ongoing member support and education is offered
to all Quality Health Plan members. It is the
goal of the Medical Affairs Department that
through early identification and intervention as
well as continued member support and education,
that we will improve health outcomes, offer a
superior service to our members and contain
healthcare costs. |
