Dr.
Haider Khan has
been a practicing physician since the mid 1970s. He has dealt
exclusively with managed care since 1990. His vast experience
includes Assistant Director of the Family Practice Residency
Program in Bayshore, New York affiliated with the State University
of New York at Stony Brook. He has also been an Assistant
Professor in the Department of Family Practice at the State
University of New York at Stony Brook. In the late 1980s, Dr.
Khan, in addition to his private practice, worked as the
Healthcare Officer of Lipscomb County, Texas as well as the
Medical Director of Twin Oaks Nursing Home. In the early 1990s,
Dr. Khan served as President and Medical Director of Primary
Medical Care Associates, where he practiced exclusively with
managed care plans. He has served as a member of the Physician
Advisory Board and a member of the credentialing committee for
Humana Health Plans, one of the largest HMOs in the state of
Florida. His vast experience has given him great proficiency and
the ability to identify and educate physicians in the various
spectrums of managed care. |
