Mr.
Sherwin earned his Accounting degree from the
University of Florida in 1980 and began his
career with the international accounting firm of
Deloitte Haskins & Sells, where he focused on
the insurance industry as a member of the audit
team.
Mr. Sherwin
became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant
in 1982 and in 1989, he joined the University of
South Florida College of Medicine as an
Accounting Manager and Budget Analyst for the
physicians practice plan. Mr Sherwin’s 25 year
career as a CPA has included positions as Vice
President of Finance and Administration for a
behavioral healthcare company and a
multi-specialty IPA group which he helped
develop. He has also served as Chief Financial
Officer for Webhealthy.com, Inc (a/k/a Optimum
Health Services) and Progressus Therapy, Inc,
where he successfully guided the organization
through an acquisition by a publicly held
company.
Mr. Sherwin’s
joined Quality Health Plans, Inc. in 2004 where
he serves as Director of Finance. His
entrepreneurial spirit and extensive experience
with growth companies continues to benefit the
expansive vision of Quality Health Plans. |
