Ms. Clements brings over 13 years
experience in the managed care industry
to Quality Health Plans. She obtained
her degree in Business
Administration and is currently working
on a degree in Health Care
Administration.
Amber has been with Quality Health
Plans since inception and was part of
the team that developed the organization
and obtained licensure with the
Department of Insurance, AHCA and CMS.
Her strongest attributes are in Business
Development, Contracting and
Network Development. These
attributes have lead Quality Health
Plans to obtaining licensure in 32
counties across the state of Florida.
Amber began her career at Well
Care Health Plans where she was involved
in every aspect of managed care
from claims, customer
service, enrollments and
provider relations. She then
became employed with Health Plan
Services where she was a Senior
Claims Examiner. She then worked for
SunStar Health Plans where she
was responsible for contracting and
provider relations for several counties
across the state of Florida.
In her current position, she is
responsible for contracting with
physicians, hospitals, ancillary
providers, and state-wide vendors in a
fee for service, capitated and
risk setting. She is also involved in
utilization review and educating
providers about managed care. Ms.
Clements extensive knowledge and
experience has given her great
proficiency in all aspects of managed
care. Amber looks forward to overseeing
the development of the Quality Health
Plan, Inc. Network Services Department
and in the future growth and development
of Quality Health Plans within the state
of Florida and throughout the United
States.
